I don't know whether it would qualify as a long-term study, but I have
applied oxalic dribble to my entire operation of several hundred hives
every Nov or Dec for at least 5 years.  Those bees then must be very strong
and healthy for almond pollination by February 15.  They have been--great
brood buildup and colony strength.
