Hello Juanse & All,
I think you did an excellent job of trying to explain the complexities of
nosema ceranae. You are one of the first to say out loud that *perhaps*
nosema ceranae in certain areas could be harder than varroa to get a handle
on. I have wanted to say so for awhile but figured I would get shouted down
and a bunch of snips from research tossed out to perhaps change my mind.
I *second* the conclusions of Juanse. NEVER be afraid to post what your
tests and observations tell you Juanse as *maybe* your research and
conclusions are correct. Certainly for your area as all beekeeping is local.
It only took Denise Anderson ( a single researcher in thousands )to change
the way the world looked at varroa destructor. A single researcher
discovered varroa jacobsoni was not the mite causing problems varroa
destructor was. Once pointed out the physical difference was amazing. Varroa
jacobsoni was round in shape and varroa destructor was oblong.
