I have a bottle of something called "The Natchez Solution"
furniture cream.  It contains "beeswax, lemon oil, ans selcted
mineral oils".  Made in Mississippi, U.S.  601-352-5100 or
800 669 8954 or
PO Box 16235, Jackson, MS 39236.
 
I have not tried it myself.  But is IS free of animal products.
