Peter,  please, could you explain in short, does your mentioning of
measuring vein pattern on the wings relates to Cubital index or some other
index? Is it considered as reliable method?
I did an amateur's research 15 years ago, using an old optical microscope
with projector, in a local school for measuring Cubital index of local
bees. Serbia is a small country and we have only one bee race - Carnica,
but although index varies.
