An Israeli startup called Beeologics developed a dsRNA antiviral product
targeting the paralytic viruses in general, and IAPV in particular.
Beeologics sought a larger company to sell themselves to to bring the
product to market.  They chose Monsanto.

Monsanto decided to start all over again at square one, and ran a large
scale field trial last winter to collect baseline data on what pathogens
actually took colonies down.  I should have my hands on that data soon.
