Actually, from 2006 - 201, we found that the pathogen diversity profile of Florida bees more or less mirrored much of east coast from NY to FL, but differed from other parts of the country.  Consider - there is a group of beekeepers who move from FL and NY and back and are intermingled with local, smaller scale beekeepers at all points along the transect.
