I would discard them as GBP (good beekeeping practice). I personally never use anything by other beekeepers. I like to stay away from other beekeepers. Just being cautious. Strains of strange, non-local Nosema might come with them. Nosema ceranae made it to all the islands here, in spite of having importation bans. I am sure it came with equipment.   If we keep on mixing pathogens (and bees for that matter) in space and time we never have quiet isolation for nice host-parasite relationship to develop locally.   Lord knows what residues are in other peoples wax. Maybe a problem maybe not. Lennard
