Hi to all,

Rule of the thumb : we usually say that for Apis mellifera mellifera, there
are roughly 10 000 bees per kilo.

Now, make your calculation for an english pound which is 453,6 gr ....

But the number may vary if the bees are starving or are filled with nectar !

Sincerely to all,

Jean J. Menier
