Today I put MAQs on 18 hives. All were 1.5 stories and in the same yard.
Temperature was 60F. Next week highs of low 70's. Added medium super and
QE. All very strong with 6+ frames of brood and 10+ frames of bees.

After an hour two had significant bearding. The rest showed no signs of
discomfort.

I am a believer but who ever designed two pads in one package clearly never
tried to separate them in the field! And I am not very Green, but the
amount of plastic waste is crazy! Why the product is not sold packaged in a
caulking tube is both a mystery and an opportunity.
