 Allan and Al

Here is another user and main reason why the New generation is made with
both ends open.

NO one can PUT THE PADS IN WRONG.

THE CUT MUST BE DOWN. It is the evaporating surface the cells as capillary
tubes keep the acid in without

Dripping and as acid evaporates gravity pulls the acid down to evaporating
surface ensuring the uniform evaporation

under steady temperature and humidity witch bees maintain.

Subject: Which way is up?

Hello Bill, Bert Blouin in Calgary.

This winter I had the pleasure of talking to you and subsequently ordered
your precut 4x5 pads. Using the bag makes soaking and installing a breeze!

We have had a very late spring but I now have the pads in al my hives. It
is likely a bit cold to expect substantial mite drops but I am monitoring.

The most I have seen is 12 mites, many only 2or 3. in 48hrs. I use screened
bottom boards. All the dropped mites seem to be dead.

The question I have, is, which way is up on the pads? Do you like
the cut end up or down?

Currently I have installed most with the cut end up

Does it make any difference if the cut end is up or down?

Thanks &

God Bless
