 I was also saddened to hear that at that meeting the
>last ever merit badge for beekeeping as awarded to a Boy Scout.  Has there
>really been no interest for decades Is that why it is being discontinued.
 
Boy scouts do not study knot tying any more either.  No respect for
practical survival skills.  I wish somebody had taught me to tie knots.
