Some of us in Carlisle, MA used it as a discussion focus on the subject of pesticide contamination in our Town. This was a library sponsored showing followed by experiences related by 10 local area beekeepers followed by open disscussion  and questions from the general public. The discussion focus was not purely on CCD, but on declining health of bees and other pollinators. For that sort of purpose it is excellent, especially because it is only 45 minutes in length, which permits time for discussion. On the minus side it is perhaps not broad enough. It focuses entirely on the neonicotinoids whereas newer documentaries, such as "Vanishing of the Bees"  focus more on systemic pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides in general. That documentary is 90 minutes in length, however, which would be too long for a use of this sort.
The showing was well attended (about 50) with a lot of lively discussion afterwards. Unfortunately the Town Officials and local residents who could acually DO something about pesticide use (Conservation Commission, Board of Health, local Dairy farmer etc.) did not show up. Nor was there any Town followup or feedback from a local newspaper article about the showing of the movie.
