The approaching thunderstorm would be forecast by the barometeer. It is the
pressure change that the bees sense. They are also bad when it is humid here in
Hawaii. Good in the morning but bad as noon approaches. The best time seems to
be sunup.It is probably tied to the presence of old bees, also since the less
honey flow the worse they are.
And then they are also worse in colder temperatures in general.
