Randy & others,

When there is a relation between DWV and small bees, do you see deformed wings first or do you see that together with small bees?

In my colonies I rarely see DWV. Mite levels are pretty low, when I see 200 mites after a winter treatment that is a lot (note that my colonies are relatively small, 1 langstroth deep would be a normal size for an "adult" colony). Also in my young colonies that are near Varroa free I see small bees. I'll make notes and see what happens over winter.
