Keiths articles lately have been about the colony as a superorganism. Trying to process the concept and what it matters, and its dawning on my that this may be the way we really need to evaluate pesticides. All our testing is done on the "individual bee" level, which we all know is bad, but when we calculate exposure totals, and metabolisms of pesticides the superorganism is actually the part that matters.

Just thinking.

Charles
