I won't drone on about this, but now drones might threaten your drones.

From Kim Flottum's excellent "Catch the Buzz":

In short, the FAA approved the Yamaha RMAX Drone to do crop dusting in the
USA

In a related item, Fischer Alchemy and the Estes Model Rocket company have
announced a joint venture to offer surface-to-air missiles with a 200-foot
height limit to protect your beeyard from drones that overfly your airspace
without endangering commercial aircraft (FAA approval pending). Call for
pricing, and ask about our anti-drone ECM countermeasures package for
apiaries in more populated areas - don't shoot down the drone, own the
drone!

I tried to explain all this to a friend here in the city, and he expressed
amazement that farmers were so tidy.
"I had no idea anyone DUSTED their crops" he said.
