How much room will a 3lb colony need this year?

I started 2 3 pound packages 2 weeks ago.  Could someone give me an estimate
how many "boxes" I'll need from now until winter, assuming a "good" year?
They're both in a single hive body each, and I figure they'll each need
another hive body and a honey super.  I want to be sure I give them enough
room but don't want to overdo it yet.
