On 7 May the initial article "Fears Bee Colony Collapse Has Arrived" appeared on Stuff: http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/farming/4973857/Fears-bee-colony-collapse-has-arrived

On 11 May we have an unknown "Bee Killing Toxin": http://www.stuff.co.nz/taranaki-daily-news/news/4987050/Bee-killing-toxin-a-great-unknown - but it's not CCD - yet.

Lord, I do love a media beat-up.

As much as it's nice to have a bit of public attention to our bees, I'm not sure the 'he said/she said/is not/are too/might be/yesterday it was/today it's not' approach is giving Joe Public a great impression. I guess the idea of getting a bunch of beeks to have a consistent voice and united front with the media is a bit of a pipe dream.

Regards
