I purchased Eli's Aquifers from Brushy Mountain.  They consist of plastic 
rectangular buckets with a detachable rim, little brightly colored styrofoam 
islands and a tiny-holed white mesh overlay.  The styrofoam islands hold up the 
mesh allowing the bees to walk on it and drink.  We purchased three of them 
(they're fairly inexpensive) and had them in place before our neighbors opened 
their pool (!!) and when we installed the packages.
