In refering to the IRS are you refering to the US goverment agency or are
you refering to your state agency.  This could make a difference with
others of different states.  For instance in my state Indiana the sales
tax is a state run program.  As far as I know the only US government
involvement is income tax, farm programs, and enviroment protection laws.
