Well,  however it's measured, it seems an exercise fraught with
hazard....given we don't know what we're looking for - unless I've missed
something, and we now know exactly how much fat 'ought' to be in the breast
milk for every individual baby at any age at any given time of day,  night
or stage of bf .

I mean, I do hope it wouldn't be compared  to formula....

And even then, if there isn't 'enough' fat,  what do you do? Encourage the
mother to feed more often to increase the fat content of the milk, yes?
Well, why not cut out the middle (lab) man and just get her to do that
straight away?

Still puzzled!
