Here is the response I sent to the BMJ regarding the article describing
breastfeeding to be a burden.

Considering that 43% of women were told to bottle feed when they
expressed concerns about their
                  milk supply, as opposed to evaluating the baby to
determine if in fact it actually was underfed, I believe
                  that it is more accurate to surmise that 43% of the
women where given poor medical advice rather than
                  assisted with their perceived feeding difficulties. To
leap to the conclusion that breastfeeding was a
                  burden, without any apparent evidence showing so,
perhaps shows the authors own personal bias
                  rather than a logical deduction from the available
facts. It appears more likely that 43% of the women
                  had doctors who were unqualified to manage
breastfeeding patients.
