I've already sent in my five, but have not noticed any "minimalists" yet.
I was going to vote for Riley's "In C" but I had used up my five with what
I considered more "important" works. I also had to leave out the Bartok
string quartets. So I agree with Roger Hecht that it's really impossible
to single out 5 century defining works.
