Not sure about the results of coprolite analysis, but Christy Turner's book, "Man Corn," is out and should lay out his arguments in more detail than the 1998 magazine article.

Recently read an old ('98, Discover Mag.) article on cannibalism among
the Anasazi--one scientist was testing coprolites for evidence of human
remains--does anyone know if those results were published?
