In my local CD shop, I heard a recent BBC reissue of Handel's ode to St.
Cecellia. Does anyone know who the conductor is? Rostropovich played some
beautiful cello on the recording. Can anyone comment how this recording
compares with the recent, Bernstein reissue. Also, are there any HIP
recordings of this piece. Thank you.
