"Opaque" is a good description, and, for me, that's a feature that adds
to the pleasure of listening to these works. The quintet and sonatas are
autumnal in nature, and I find the "film" covering the works ideal for the
emotions that are conveyed.
I apologize to Aaron in case I have not used "opaque" in the way he
intended.
