I agree..I love Jordi Savall's work.  Brilliant stuff.  I love these fine
works and I totally agree that Purcell was a culminator.  This what fuels
my argument about Purcell being a very "backward looking" composer aside
from his work with the 3 part sonatas which were very much in fashion at
the time.
