A new recording, if performed w/ the care and spirit you described in your
post, would be something to wait for.

In the meantime, in case you're not aware, there was, and maybe still is,
a CD of Zimmerman playing these concertos on DG 415 970-2 w/ Giulini
conducting the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
