Although there are very good modern recordings of Schoenbergs Violin Cto
(Zeitlin/Kubelik), the three surviving recordings by Krasner (to whom is
dedicated) and Mitropoulos remain a must:

1. New York Philharmonic Symphony (then) Orchestra, LP Columbia and CD
Dante/Lys (recorded in Studio under terrible conditions; refer to Trotters
book on Mitropoulos),

2. Symphony Orchestra Of Bayerischen Rundfunk, CD Orfeo (live)

3. NYPSO (if I remember well), CD GM-Records (live)

Dont miss them.
