What if he never tolerates the formula? I have met several babies who
could not digest anything but mother's milk. In fact, I know of at least
one NICU that do not permit the use of formula at all on premies, for
the very reason that breastmilk is much more readily tolerated.

I am not a medic, but this doesn't make any sense to me.
