These parents can and should file suit for battery (it's not malpractice
in this case).  Someone with that many drugs in her system is nowhere
near competent to sign anything!  It's too bad there aren't more people
like this couple who are willing to hire a lawyer.  Maybe things will
change if it costs insurance companies lots of $$$$$$$.
