Joy,
All of your points related to over-supply have merit. I wish I had a thousand
hours to spend on research each year...I'd try looking at them. Any ideas of how
we might construct a less formal sort of retrospective study...and carry it out
in both your setting and mine? I'm wondering about just interviewing moms with
over supply regarding the factors you have mentioned....after a few years we
should have a hefty number of cases for at least a case series.
I am interested in ferreting out how mom's lifetime diet (of hormone treated
dairy and beef) affects her milk making abilities and also, as you mention, how
the fussy & frequent nurser is related. Perhaps there are other lactnetters
interested as well.
