I'm not familiar w/ either.  I have the Furtwaengler/Flagstad EMI (my only
"modern" recording), and assorted Flagstad/Melchior recordings by Reiner
and Beecham (one of which may have been an inadvertent integration of
parts from both), and Flagstad/Melchior recordings from Met performances
conducted by Bodanzky (1937), and Leinsdorf (1940 and 1941).
