Haendel's Semele was broadcasted on BBC (TV) more than a week ago.  I had
to take care of my children at the same time, so I guess I just saw and
heard about 1/3 of the opera.  Still, very beatiful stuff and I wasn't
bored for a minute.  It's funny that the occasion hasn't been discussed
on MCML......
