Lionel Choi writes:

>If you're looking for the orchestrated version by Liszt, Jorge Bolet/Solti
>(Decca/London) do a more-than-decent job.

And yes he is correct, it is a much "more-than-decent job," but one of my
favorites in this work is Michel Beroff with Kurt Masur in a 2 cd set on
EMI with all the piano works with orchestra. It contains both concertos,
the Wanderer-Fantasie (with orchestra of course), Polonaise brillante for
piano and orchestra, Fantasie for Piano and Orchestra on themes from
Beethoven "Ruins of Athens," Grande Fantaisie symphonique for piano and
orchestra on themes from "Lelio" of Berlioz, and Malediction and Totentanz.
It was available in the US as CDZB 67214.

Has anyone comments on the Berezovsky/Masur on Teldec???
