Wilson Pereira was telling us that Wagner's transcription of Beethoven's
9th has been recorded on Bis, and that this recording was praised by the
BBC Music Magazine.

I have not heard this recording, but the reviews I have read were not
generous of the transcription itself or the performance.  Wagner evidently
developed the transcription early in his musical life, and its quality is
debatable.  I have no opinion at this point.
