There's a new period Beethoven 9th by Herreweghe and a French orchestra.
Listened to it.  Tempi are very fast -- the third mvoement is about 12:31.
Singers are pretty good too.  Sound a little on the boomy side, but also
wellrecorded.  On Harmonia Mundi.
