David Stewart asks:

As a man born in Salzburg, just like Mozart, Karajan knew his [Mozart's]
music better than many conductors. But Sir Neville Marriner is also a
brilliant mozartian and Leonard Bernstein was, in his lifetime, a great
conductor of Mozart's music.
