Pete Caleb announced the release of "Lenya," an 11-CD plus book plus
discography set featuring virtually everything Lotte Lenya recorded during
her long career in the musical theatre.

Hats off to Pete Caleb for bringing this set to our attention.  I knew
Lotte Lenya, and interviewed her once for Gannett Newspapers at her New
City, NY, home, known then as the Brook House.  Lenya was then 76, but
you would hardly have guessed it.  Frisky, provocative, and a little
mischievous, she importuned me for weeks afterward to get something going
between us.  I was flattered, of course, but then I was told she did that
with every young man who crossed her path.  Quite a personality!
