Details of the next Kathryn Thomas Flute and the Galliard Ensemble Wind
Quintet composition competitions (2000) are now available.  Previous
winning pieces have been performed in the Purcell Room, Beaconsfield
Festival and the Wanstead and Woodford Festival of Chamber Music, and have
been reviewed in the Times, Financial Times and Pan.  In previous years far
more excellent pieces have been entered than could be awarded prizes, and
several of these are being programmed in future recitals.  There is no
entry fee.
