This Andrew Clark person is a wonderful example of the critic as fool.
In addition to the above blunder, it was Mr Clark who attended a recent
performance of Schoenberg's Moses and Aaron at the Met in New York City,
and surprised to discover himself in a full house when he had been
expecting to find the 'famously philistine' New York audience had stayed
away, put forward the theory that he was among wealthy Jews who were
assuaging their guilt at making so much money on Wall Street.

No doubt in due course someone at the FT will notice what a prat they have
in their midst and we will hear no more of Mr Clark.
