Chris Bonds writes about Beethoven:

This quote is a bit misleading, because I want to say about No. 9,
Kreutzer:

There is a Tolstoy story featuring this piece that's a must-read for anyone
who likes it.  It's called (go figure):  "The Kreutzer Sonata"
