I don't have any recordings of the "Dance of the Hours," but I would
imagine that any of the ones that are available would adequately plumb the
depths of this piece, such as they are. What interests me, however, is that
this is one of those things that I remember hearing all the time when I was
young, but have not encountered for a long time, even on radio programs
which lean toward the "light classics." Does anyone have an idea why?
