As a matter of fact, John Browning has a recording of a Mussorgsky 2-piano
sonata where he plays both parts.  However, it is a very difficult feat to
bring off.  Apparently, two people synchronize better than one player
overdubbing.

Then, of course, there's Bill Evans's Conversations with Myself, in which
he overdubs himself *twice*.
