Among the many differences between the music of Rameau and Bach, the one
that stands out the most is that the more Rameau I listen to, the less I
appreciate his music; The more Bach I hear, the greater he becomes. Bach
just blows all others away.

However, Rameau, in his own right, was an excellent and inspired composer;
I like his cantatas most of all. And, he stands tall above the musical
abilities of Lully, who we could call "lucky Lully."
