I just rec'd my copy in the mail and am very disappointed at the way they
portray breastfeeding. The article is listed in the index as
"Breast-feeding Trouble" and the article is headlined "Nursing Trouble" "
New thinking on why some mothers are unable to produce enough breast milk
to adequately feed their newborns"
.
If that isn't negative, I don't know what is.
It saddens me tremendously to think that our work will NEVER be done...
the magazine is proudly sponsored by Johnson and Johnson., and  McNeil...
As someone already mentioned, the article does give the "warning signs"
of "low milk".The funny thing is that the article isn't all bad, but what
a way to introduce the subject of breastfeeding! One positive note- the
sidebar about ovarian cancer later on does mention breast-feeding as one
way of interfering with ovulation and reducing the risk of that
particular cancer...
