I have not been enjoying reading the posts about to have or not have a
nurse in at Disney for the LLLI Conference this summer. I find LLL 's
stance on the issue to be as ludicrious as my recommendation to have a
nurse in at the gates of the park. I apologize for not showing my tongue in
my cheek sooner about being the original poster about a nurse-in. IMO, yes
LLL does many wonderful things but as a member, I am disappointed in their
decision and their position statement on the matter.

I totally agree with IBFANs stance. It looks like a great conference.
But between the heat and the affiliation with Disney, I have no plans to
attend. I'm a Southerner by nature and that's why I live in the Midwest
now. Summertime is too hot and humid in the South for me and my little
ones. I also have numerous reservations about Disney, not just their
affiliation with Nestle as a corporate sponsor of the park but other
corporate policies that must make Walt Disney turn over in his grave. My
dear brother works for an ABC affiliate which is owned by Disney. I won't
go into anymore detail. If you have further questions or comments about my
remarks, send them to me personally. I personally will not waste anymore
bandwidth on Lactnet on the matter.

this years LLL conference.
