I agree they are starker.  And they are good.  But, over time, I find the
starkness wearing on me and I am turning more frequently to the set I have
by Ohllson (sp?).  And the more I listen to Rubenstein's Mazurkas the more
I want to check out his Nocturnes.  I'd be interested in CHVG's reasoning
behind his appreciation of their "starkness."
