One possibility is that a friend or relative signed on for her.  The other
is that it is said that the companies look at birth announcements in the
newspapers, and track the mothers down like that. Maternity stores often
have mailing lists which they send to the formula companies.

Everyone works for formula companies.  And they are so smart they have *us*
with the public image of the "sacred cow" (sorry) or the "establishment".
