In response to Bernard Gregoire's comments on the BSO, I think that his
high regard for Robert Spano is accurate. He deserves serious consideration
as Ozawa's successor, although the very idea of a successor is apparently
considered the height of treason in some circles.

List participants may be interested to know that Lindberg's Arena and
other recent works are recorded on a fine Ondine cd.

On Sibelius Gregoire and I part company- two Bernards, two opinions.
